Hello!
[cs_content][cs_section parallax=”false” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 45px 0px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_raw_content]Dear brothers and sisters!
So much has happened in our lives since we wrote our last newsletter in May, but we can, without a doubt, say that we have felt carried and strengthened by your prayers. Thank you!
One of our prayer requests in May was that we could sell the house… Well, one day after the house was put on the market, an offer (for the full price) was given, and the following day, the contract was signed! It was truly a miracle! So, our house in Park Forest is now sold, and we’ve been in Florence, South Carolina for about a week now.
The Lord provided our new home in a way that He can only do! We are so grateful to see Him at work. The owner of the house let us live here with a lease according to our needs, and the house is in one of the most beautiful areas of the city. The owner’s aunt who is 91 years old lives next door. She loves having our kids around! She has 3 children (and 9 grand-kids and 9 great grand kids), who live in the same neighborhood, so we pray that the Lord will reveal Himself to one of them and that it will have a snow ball effect 🙂
Our children are doing well getting adjusted to the southern life. It still feels pretty hot to us ha!
Here are some prayer requests that we would like to share with you:
- The Salvation of the McLeod family (our landlord, his cousins and aunt).
- The completion of the GED test for Melek so that she can homeschool our children.
- Open doors for the ministry to get started.
- Provision for us as a family as well as for the ministry.
Once again, thank you for your support. Feel free to ask us any question you may have.
Below are some pictures and a brief but powerful testimony![/x_raw_content][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section parallax=”false” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 45px 0px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/2″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_image type=”thumbnail” src=”https://5stones.tv/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/nolan.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/cs_column][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/2″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_raw_content]Nolan’s Miracle
Just the day before our departure to South Carolina, Nolan woke up with a sharp pain in his right hip that kept him from standing up or walking. After taking him to the doctor, we were sent to the ER at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Chicago for further testing…
After a few hours, they said it looked like an inflammation on the hip bone (hoping there were no infection) they sent him home for 24h. but Nolan remained unable to walk.
Once at home together with some of our close friends we prayed over Nolan, and as soon as we finished, he got up by himself and started walking!! We saw the instant healing power at work! Praise God! What a privilege to witness this in our son’s life!

Our hearts are filled with sadness, leaving so many people we’ve grown to love, and at the same time with expectation of embracing the call of God. His Glorious Plan is much higher than what we can think of and we are so humbled and privileged to be part of it. Our prayer is as David’s in one of his Psalms:[/x_raw_content][x_blockquote cite=”Psalm 143:10 ” type=”left”]“Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.”[/x_blockquote][x_raw_content]As founders of Five Stones International Ministries, we will be moving to Florence, South Carolina in July of 2016 to start the ministry there believing God will be adding to the Church those people who will be saved (Acts 2:47).
We will be posting updates of our journey here for those of you who want to follow up with us.
We are so thankful for all the prayers and support of so many. Please feel free to navigate through our website to learn more about Five Stones and if you have further questions or comments, contact us .
Blessings to you!

It is here at CLC that 7 years ago our American Story began.
Coming from so far away with an 8-month-old baby, we had no idea of what God had in store for us… Harvey being our first home, where gunshots and loud Mexican music could be heard sometimes during the night, changed a little bit our perspective of how the “American Dream” looked like in our mind. But God chose those two years in that neighborhood to show us how to be satisfied in Him, and to wait on Him. He then took us to Park Forest, where he showed us that “yes!” it is possible to live debt free, even in this country.
It is here at CLC that we experienced the supernatural provision of God, when everything we needed was always provided just on time.
Living away from the entire family has been something hard and painful at times, but it is here at CLC that we experienced the love of this new family. A family that helped us feel loved, and cared for.
It is here, through CLC, that God chose to ordain us as pastors. We will never forget that day, when something spiritually supernatural happened deep inside of us.
It is here at CLC that our last two babies were born and that I personally experienced the love and help of beautiful women, who would cook for us, so that I could rest and take care of my baby. What a beautiful act of love that is!
It is here at CLC that my husband learned English and was challenged for the first time in his life to preach in another language.
It is here at CLC that we learned to combine different cultures together and to learn from each other.
It is here at CLC that we entered the new “bilingual world” and learned to work as a team to make a message alive in two different languages and cultures, both in the same service.
It is here at CLC that we received such accurate prophecies that would carry us, guide us, and comfort us.
CLC, you have been used by God in many ways, to bless our lives beyond what we can express. THANK YOU!
Pastors Jerry and Chris, we are forever grateful to you. We have learned so much from you, not only from what you do, but from who you are. Thank you! We love you.
